Kitchen Remodel - Almaden (2)
Before
 This project began as a typical home in the Almaden Valley. Bauman Builders was hired to renovate the kitchen, which had been previously upgraded, but still remained cramped and difficult to work in. The owners wanted to get more light in the kitchen and to lighten up the dark interior.
In Progress
 In order to gain additional space in the kitchen, the peninsula counter between the living room and kitchen was moved about two feet. Bauman Builders worked with the client to select their cabinets and countertops. We went to several granite dealers to find the right stone for their kitchen, finally settling on a green stone with interesting, river-like, veins throughout.
After
 The completed kitchen features a slide in oven and range, a microwave combination vent hood, dishwasher and a new refrigerator, all in stainless steel. Accessiblity options, like pull out drawers and blind corner cabinet sliding systems. Finally, crown moulding was run in the lightwell and into the living room to tie the two spaces together.
