"When you want it done right!"
Kitchen Remodel - Campbell
Before
This project began as an original 1940's kitchen. Portions of the house had been remodeled over the years but the kitchen had been neglected. This area of the home was neither pleasing to the eye nor very functional. The homeowner worked with designer Helena Steele of Golden Gate Kitchens in Campbell, California to create the plans for the remodel. Bauman Builders worked with the designer to execute the vision for the kitchen.
In Progress
Bauman Builders and the client worked together to design the actual glass tile backsplash accent behind the stove, based on the sketch provided by the designer. An archway was also created between the kitchen and the laundry room to help differentiate the two spaces. A window was installed over the sink to provide additional lighting in that area.
After
The finished kitchen features a custom made art glass fixture over the sitting counter that separates the dining area from the kitchen. Modular cabinetry and an antique granite countertop were installed to compliment the stainless steel appliances selected for the kitchen. A Spanish style saltillo tile was laid throughout the kitchen and dining area, provided a unique, durable floor with lots of visual interest. Saltillo tiles are dried in open areas where animals sometimes pass leaving their footprints.
